Dentistry for Children
Let's face it, white masks, funny looking glasses, chairs that move, can be a daunting experience for adults let alone kids. So at Dentistry on Coolum, we are set-up to make the kids excited to come to the dentist!
In fact, we suggest dentistry for children should start from as early 1 years old for something as simple as having a 'ride in the chair' on mum or dads lap. This, along with playing with toys and masks and gloves helps establish a positive experience at the dentist to last a lifetime!
Decay develops faster in kids than it does in adults, so it's vital for kids to have their teeth checked every 6 months to see if they are taking good care of teeth. With a regular dental routine, we can help them keep their teeth (Adult ones) for life!
If you are in a Health Fund for Dental, Check-ups, Cleans and x-rays are completely BULK-BILLED! Taking the financial burden out of dentistry for children.
Get your child EXCITED for a visit to the dentist.
Child Dental Benefit Schedule
Seeing a kids dentist does not have to be expensive. The Child Dental Benefit Schedule or CDBS is a Government initiative scheme where eligible children between aged 2-18 have $1000 worth of dental treatment over a two-year period under Medicare.
